The Organistational Position: Phytosanitary inspection management was established by Decree of the General Director n. 297 of 23.04.2019, within the Functional Position (PF) "Marche Region Plant Protecion Service (Marche RPPS), and Agrometereology" and coordinates following activities:

• Official controls at the border control post (BCP) of the Port of Ancona on imported regulated items from extra EU countries;
  
  
• Export phytosanitary certification;
  
  
• Inspections for the assessment of offences against the phytosanitary legislation in force;
  
  
• Management and up-date of the Official Register of Professional Operators and activities concerning the phytosanitary tariff;
  
  
• Issue of the authorisation for the use of the mark for wooden packaging material according to the ISPM/FAO nr. 15 in agreement with the bodies authorised to manage the mark;
  
  
• Advice for the regional implementation of the phytosanitary legislation on plants protection;
