The Organisational Position “Nurseries, forest biodiversity and enhancement of the Marche Region woods”, established by Decree of the General Director n. 121 of 05.05.2022,, within the Functional Position (PF) “Accounting, capital goods, forestry and agricultural experimentation”, coordinates following activities:
- Management of the nurseries: development of the annual production plans of forest, truffle, ancient fruit and olive trees;
- Variety investigation on walnut trees for their enrolment in the Ministerial Register to create a variety field catalogue at the forest nursery “Alto Tenna” of Amandola (AP);
- Implementation of the Measure 15.2 of the Marche Region RDP: forest biodiversity safeguard;
- Implementation of the Measure 16.1 of the FITAM (Marche Region innovative truffle chain) project on truffle growing;
- Annual experimentation program for the improvement of truffle farming according to the Regional Law L.R. 5/13.
