The box tree moth is an Asian species that was recently introduced in the regional environments.
It may seriously damages several species of boxwood by completely and rapidly defoliating entire plants and hedges. The Marche Region Plant Protecion Service (Marche RPPS) has issued an information sheet on the Box tree, which is widespread in all provinces of the Marche Region.
