The Asian long-horned beetle threatens trees in our gardens and parks!
It is a pest coming from Asia that is forbidden in Italy and in other EU countries.
The insect is not harmful to humans or animals, but it can seriously damage trees including the healthy ones.
It can even kill them within a few years. Its host plants are Maple, Birch, Poplar, Willow, Elm, Horse-Chestnut and several other broad leaved trees.
In the event of suspected presence do immediately inform the Region Plant Protecion Service (Marche RPPS).
